Led by pharmacist independent prescriber Jon James, the pharmacy has been transformed into a local healthcare access point focused on improving access to professional clinical care within the community.
Patients use Treherbert Pharmacy for far more than collecting prescriptions. The pharmacy now provides NHS prescribing appointments, common ailments consultations, clinical assessments, travel health services, ear wax removal, weight management support, smoking cessation services, vitamin B12 injections and private healthcare appointments through Bute Clinic upstairs.
