Terms and Conditions

About LocalSpotlight Wales

LocalSpotlight Wales provides a reviewed local business directory. Listings are submitted by business owners or authorised representatives and may be reviewed before publication.

Business listings

Business owners are responsible for making sure listing information is accurate, lawful, up to date, and not misleading. Listings should describe the business in a useful, evergreen way. Prices, temporary offers, event dates, and other time-sensitive content should not be placed in the directory listing.

We may approve, reject, request edits, suspend, expire, or remove listings at our discretion, especially where content is incomplete, stale, misleading, unlawful, poor quality, or unsuitable for the directory.

Reviews and user content

Reviews, enquiries, and other user content may be moderated. We may remove content that appears abusive, defamatory, spammy, irrelevant, unlawful, or otherwise unsuitable. Reviews are opinions of the reviewer and are not endorsements by LocalSpotlight Wales.

Facebook groups and community promotion

Approved LocalSpotlight listing URLs may be used for community promotion where a Facebook group or other platform allows it. Posting permission is always subject to the rules and moderation decisions of the relevant group or platform.

Microsmith Electronics Ltd, LocalSpotlight Wales, and this website are not affiliated with, or legally responsible for the any Facebook groups, their administrators, moderators, members, comments, posts, or moderation decisions. References to Facebook groups are provided only to explain how approved LocalSpotlight listing links may be used for community promotion where group rules allow.

No guarantee

We aim to keep the directory useful and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that every listing, review, link, map, phone number, opening hour, or third-party detail is complete or current. Visitors should make their own checks before buying goods or services from any listed business.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service grows, including when paid listings, subscriptions, magazine advertising, or other promotional services are introduced.
